Fairly Comfortable

High Five again, Anth

Mystery Meat

Off to Laos

Also known as the land of temperamental communication, the Lovely Laos is my next destination. My intrepid companion is Jeremy of CPH infamy, and we head off into the unknown (well, Vientiane actually) in about 2 hours. You can expect some super new photos from my super new camera, but don't expect them for a little while. Apparently the internet has not been working in the entire country for the last week.

See you on the other side......

High Five Anth

Posted by Picasa

The Bangkok Hilton

Sea shells are spread over a grill on top of an open flame. Each shell has three scallops cooking on top. Anth and I ordered a bunch of them. But then she threw on some squid for someone else. We ordered some of that too. And the massive prawns behind her. And then a crab. We are in Bangkok in some small streets near the Chao Phraya river. Dinner was great and cost $4.

And then there were two. Anth and I are in Bangkok and he decided it would be a good idea to stay at the Hilton on his last night in Thailand. He was going to do it alone, so who was I to stop him from getting an 18th storey twin room? A gym workout, a swim, perfect. Yogi and Dee have just flown back to Melbourne, Billie and Hoges having already left from the south.
